The Talent Acquisition Specialist reports directly to the Talent Acquisition Manager, and is responsible for working in partnership to execute talent initiatives that yield and retain high quality and engaged talent for the organization. This position is responsible for developing relationships and strategies with Human Resources and client groups to implement innovative talent acquisition, diversity, sourcing, and on-boarding strategies focused on meeting company objectives, as well as supporting employee engagement initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Executes full cycle talent acquisition process for salaried positions and interns, including but not limited to posting, sourcing, screening, scheduling, interviewing, selection, offer negotiation and onboarding.
Employs progressive talent acquisition solutions using multiple avenues including direct sourcing, industry networking, employee referrals, internet sourcing, diversity related sourcing, targeted advertising, social media and college programs.
Conducts required pre-employment activities to include assessments, background checks and drug screens.
Works collaboratively with HR Business Partners and managers to assess and strengthen selection decisions through the application of appropriate market and industry benchmarks.
Ensures a high level of customer service through ongoing contact with internal and external customers. Develops proactive communication strategies to inform managers and HR Business Partners on the status of job searches.
Develops and maintains consultative relationships with the HR Business Partners, HR Centers of Excellence, and client groups as it relates to talent acquisition decisions.
Develops and maintains technical knowledge in the specialized areas related to talent acquisition. Keeps abreast of industry trends and benchmarks other organizations and best practices to ensure optimal tools and resources are being utilized.
Manages campus recruitment activities, including execution of the company internship program.
Executes required documentation in support of local Affirmative Action plans.
Executes end to end project management of company engagement survey to include survey set-up and planning, communications, participation reports, and coordination of executive action planning sessions.
Works closely with HR Business Partners, Organizational Effectiveness, and HR leadership to ensure alignment and consistent delivery on commitments related to survey activities. Dotted-line reporting relationship into Organizational Effectiveness during engagement survey project administration.
Ensures compliance with all Federal, State and Local legal and regulatory requirements.
Performs other duties as may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience
B.S. degree in Business, Management, Human Resources or other related field
Up to 3 years relevant work experience preferred
Strong PC skills required in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
K nowledge of HRMS and ATS systems a plus, preferably experience with Taleo Business Edition
