Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

:

Manage various programs including technical skills training, change initiatives, leadership development programs and process deployment. Assist in the development and construct training manuals and training aids or supervise their development by outside suppliers.

Administer surveys and feedback tools as required to measure process effectiveness, talent development and application of learning programs. Manage communication with vendor and interfacing with participants as required.

Support development of the agenda, language, processes and tools to help leaders more effectively select, develop, manage and retain talent.

Support integration of standard talent management related processes/work to develop talent, strengthen our desired culture and drive profitable growth. Support introduction of tools and methods to enhance and develop desired behaviors throughout the organization.

Support the company's talent review, performance management and organizational review processes and programs. Ensure appropriate tools and systems are accessible and well communicated (working in partnership with HRIS team).

Support improvements in talent management related approaches, processes and systems that result in enhanced skill development, deeper bench strength and improved talent readiness for targeted positions.

Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to search systems for internal candidate slates for key leadership positions.

Assist leaders and users of processes, programs and tools by developing supporting training / communications, job-aids based on best practices.

Research current best practices and refine processes / tools as required to ensure HR community is well informed regarding strategic approaches to talent management capabilities.

Identify, develop and track key talent management metrics and prepare quarterly reports for review by Senior Leadership as required.

Support talent management processes (e.g. Talent Review, Performance Management, Learning programs, etc.) and drive utilization and follow through using reports, data analysis. Provide points of integration with other HR / talent related areas (HR generalists, talent acquisition. May include developing and managing an annual calendar, communication of timelines and deadlines, collecting data and generating analysis.

Qualifications

EDUCATION

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in related field however an MBA is preferred.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 3 years relevant corporate experience, preferably in talent management or related roles.

CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTORS:
Experience related to implementing and managing company-wide talent management related processes, programs and tools (talent review / succession planning, performance management, leadership / behavioral / technical competencies, employee engagement surveys, training and development programs)

Demonstrated track record of taking initiative, working independently while handling multiple priorities.

Ability to gather, analyze and report accurate information in a timely manner with strong attention to detail.

Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills

Process skills and systems thinking with track record of utilizing continuous improvement methodology as a business practice.

Experience working in a fast paced, service oriented, highly matrixed environment

Ability to contribute to large, complex projects within demanding time constraints and budget parameters.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

Must be self-motivated, well organized, have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, at all levels of the organization; must be proficient with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software, and internet and email tools.
