General Summary:

The Supervisor, Talent Acquisition serves as a strategic business partner with managers and recruiting team implementing the organization’s recruitment strategy by leading, directing, and coordinating recruitment related activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Designs, directs, and implements the organization recruitment strategies ensuring the process are conducted in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures. Advises leaders of the talent acquisition strategy.

2. Leads, designs, and develops best practices for the hiring managers, recruiters, and recruitment related activities. Establishes recruiting life cycle from requisition approval and job descriptions through offer and on-boarding of candidate.

3. Analyzes hiring results, establishes metrics, and identifies trends to manage and forecast hiring needs. Creates metrics to measure success, organizational challenges, and impact.

4. Participates in workforce planning and budgeting anticipating future workforce changes to meet the organizations hiring goals.

5. Manages, develops, and evaluates talent acquisition staff. Implements performance goal-setting and developmental plans.

6. Provides coaching, counseling, and career development for talent acquisition team enhancing continuous development and skills.

7. Conducts recruiting for key positions and others as required.

8. Builds and manages social networking recruitment efforts.

9. Creates and manages international recruiting procedures and processes. Ensures candidates are ITAR compliant, work visa sponsorship is compliant and current, and all internal approvals are met prior to international candidate on-site visit.

10. Creates and manages all recruiting job fair initiatives and other events.

11. Oversees the administration of the on-line applicant tracking system including data integrity and compliance.

12. Manages and negotiates with employment agencies regarding processes, billing rates and hiring relationships with assigned contingent work force.

Education, Work Experience, Certification and/or Licensure:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or other related field required. Masters degree preferred.

2. PHR or SPHR certification preferred.

3. Minimum of 7 years Talent Acquisition experience.

4. Minimum of 4 years managing and leading others.

5. Experience in the Aerospace industry strongly preferred.

9. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes).

10. Experience with SAP a plus.

11. Experience with Taleo applicant tracking system preferred.

12. Experience with creating metrics and forecasting hiring needs.

13. Understands recruiting market.

Physical Requirements:

1. Incumbents may be routinely exposed to equipment operational noise heat-cold-dust, and/or aircraft equipment, parts, or fuel odors.

2. Incumbents may be required to stand, sit, squat, walk, bend, move, reach, or stretch for prolonged time periods with no restrictions, as required by job duties.

3. Work in a safe and professional manner while adhering to all regulatory requirements (FAA, OSHA, DOT, EPA, State, and Federal regulations, etc.).

4. Read, hear, speak, and see with no restrictions, as required by job duties.

5. Comprehend and adhere to management directions and/or safety instructions with no restrictions.

6. Effectively communicate in Business English language.

7. Pull, push, carry, lift, or move items up to 10 lbs. throughout the work shift without assistance, as required by job duties.

8. Pull, push, carry, lift or move materials/people/items/equipment weighing up to 50lbs or more during the work shift, with the use of Company provided “reach assistance technology” or “movement assist technology” (fork-lifts, pallet jacks, pulleys, dolly’s, robotics reach equipment, people movers etc.), as required by job duties.
