Conducts comprehensive needs assessments; determines education, learning, and development priorities based on assessed needs, business impact and available resources.
Recommends alternatives and enhancements to training programs as appropriate.
Determines the education, learning, and development needs that link directly to transformational change, business results, and enterprise objectives
Creates the learning strategy and plan of execution for supported business / function
Collaborates with functional Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop practical, effective learning solutions.
Designs, conducts, and/or brokers the delivery of training programs from a variety of resources.
Determines whether to buy, rent, or build learning interventions.
Researches, evaluates, and selects outside programs, consultants to meet training needs as appropriate.
Champions and leads the growth and process standardization of virtual learning through the corporate Learning Management System (LMS)
Delivers effective solutions within appropriate budgets and time parameters
Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Human Resources or related field required; Master’s degree preferred
7+ years experience as a learning practitioner within a large corporate learning and/or OD environment.
Demonstrated track record of utilizing practical and effective instructional design techniques to perform needs assessment, define learning objectives, design and develop learning solutions and measure business impact
Successful and in-depth L&D background with demonstrated strengths in design, development and delivery of measurably high-impact learning solutions
Background in instructional design and content development through a range of delivery methods (including e-learning, social media, distance learning, instructor led, blended and mobile learning)
Demonstrated experience partnering with business/ organizational leaders, learning consultants, and facilitators to translate business performance gaps into effective, measurable learning solutions
Experience driving the value and utilization of a Learning Management System
Background in instructional design and content development through a range of delivery methods (including e-learning, instructor led, blended and mobile learning) and evaluation.
Demonstrated ability to manage a variety of projects with varying levels of complexity to successful completion
Knowledge and demonstrated mastery of adult learning styles, instructional design and an ability to operationalize learning best practices in a complex, corporate environment
Proven understanding of instructional design/authoring software
Strong influence, negotiation, creative problem solving and people management skills
Ability to build relationships with business partners, HR colleagues and vendors and proven success in consulting at all organizational levels
Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, facilitation and professional speaking skills
