This is a temporary assignment expected to last for 9 to 12 months.

BASIC FUNCTION: Leads and manages cross-departmental teams on strategic efforts and programs impacting Talent and Organization Development, including Leadership Development. Ensures that the organization’s efforts around Talent and Organization Development are aligned to meet corporate objectives. Ensures that the scope of projects to develop, enhance and implement are appropriately estimated, impacts are understood and any strategic issues are managed and escalated appropriately. Accountable for effective communication to the stakeholders on project status. Establishes and monitors metrics in order to ensure that programs meet the stated objectives. Influences corporate Leadership Development strategies by focusing resources on initiatives that provide the greatest value to the organization.

This is a temporary assignment expected to last for 9 to 12 months, after which time the business need to continue the assignment (as a temporary or regular full-time position) will be assessed.

QUALIFICATIONS: Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field. A minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible work experience emphasizing project management and implementation, decision making, consulting and influence without authority is required. HR, OD, and/or leadership development experience/knowledge is strongly preferred. Previous leadership and experience working in or directly supporting a business area is needed, along with a demonstrated ability to think strategically and to develop implementation plans to address long-range business needs at the corporate and functional level. In-depth knowledge of systems, operations, products and services in the home office. Candidates must have demonstrated ability to identify and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders representing a broad range of functions and levels in order to advance strategic objectives, along with strong analytical, planning and problem solving skills. Previous success with managing budgets to accomplish business objectives is desired. Excellent communication skills and facilitation skills with the ability to build rapport and gain acceptance at all levels in the home office and with strategic partners are necessary.
