Specific Job Description
Position supports the Finance and Business Operations organization in the Enterprise Operations business.

Position responsible for, but not limited to the following:
-Performs task under limited supervision related to income tax compliance, such as returns, extensions, forecasts and tax provisions for business sectors and certain corporate heritage business units.
-Develops and maintains critical relationships between Tax, Controllers, Treasury, Legal, and Business Units to ensure Tax has a well-informed view of the business operations.
-Manages tax planning and compliance function, including the preparation of Federal corporate and partnership returns. Assists with corporate tax initiatives.
-Manages the tax budgeting and forecasting process, including the preparation of estimated payments.
-Provides support in reviewing new and existing tax laws, court cases, regulations and rulings to ensure minimization of the corporate tax burden.
-Reconciles accounts and maintains tax accounting records.
-Coordinates closely with Tax Accounting and Reporting team to ensure timely and accurate preparation of quarterly and annual tax provision and related disclosures.

Standard Job Description
Prepares the company's federal, state, and local tax returns by examining accounts and records and computing tax returns according to prescribed rates, laws, and regulations. Audits financial records to determine tax liability. Prepares claims for tax refunds, maintains tax records, prepares routine and special tax reports, and advises management regarding business, internal programs, and activities as they relate to tax matters.

Security Clearance

Typical Minimums
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 3 years of professional experience; or 1 year of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered experienced, but still a learner.
