In general, the person who fills this role will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and maintenance of corporate tax records. Some of the things the person who fills this role will do are the following:  assist in the preparation of the U.S. Corporate income tax return;  assist with the global income tax provision for U.S. GAAP purposes (quarterly and year-end);  work with U.S. Accounting in connection with the calculation of tax depreciation;  provide internal support as needed for the IRS audit. Depending on the experience and demonstrated abilities of the candidate, the role could evolve into having more responsibility for one or more aspects of these functions.
Education / Skills / Experience
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Good communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to work with people from all areas of the company and from diverse cultural backgrounds
Ability to think creatively to complete tasks in a timely manner
Experience with U.S. GAAP accounting, especially the rules of ASC 740
Experience with preparing a U.S. corporate income tax return (Form 1120)
Experience in dealing with the IRS, especially at the Exam level
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with all other Microsoft Office products
Experience using SAP
