A tenure-track position as Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor of Accounting is available August 2013. The ideal candidate will have an interest in teaching taxation courses. Applicants who are seeking a balance of teaching/research responsibilities will find a collegial work environment at UNI. PhD/DBA in Accounting from an AACSB accredited institution (ABDs near degree completion will be considered) or LLM in Taxation (with an accounting background) from an ABA accredited institution; potential for excellence in teaching; potential to produce publishable research; and evidence of strong communication and interpersonal skills. Professional certification preferred.

The Department of Accounting ( consists of 12 faculty members and approximately 640 undergraduate majors. The department also offers a Master of Accounting degree and serves an important role in the College’s MBA program.
