Our Tax Technology group is seeking to hire a Senior Associate who will serve as a Senior Business Implementation Consultant. Analyze and document client business processes and workflows in both a “as-is” and “to-be” states Perform process definition, conduct analysis and improvement studies, and collaborate with client to affect process change Collaborate with implementation team members to identify appropriate configuration solutions Identify and document configuration specifications and client-specific customizations design details for the system implementation Perform data analysis and mapping between clients systems and the Duff & Phelps Specialty Tax software Utilize different technologies to gather and perform data cleansing and transformation of client data for import into Duff & Phelps Specialty Tax software Communicate and transition requirements to development staff and technical implementation consultant and provide support to the teams Identify and document UAT requirements and collaborate with team to complete UAT documentation Facilitate client UAT sessions Ensure all deliverables are produced within established timelines and according to project scope and according to established processes and team standards Present deliverables to clients Report status and escalate issues to project leadership Ensure protocols, change management and compliance processes are followed Provide assistance during client engagements where applicable Assist internal technology staff where applicable
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree required in a computer science or business related field or equivalent work experience Minimum 5 years’ experience required in a business analysis, business liaison, or requirements gathering role Minimum 3 years’ experience required in software development and/or implementation, customer support, and consulting best practices Demonstrated experience in partnering with external vendors to drive successful projects Proven technical writing skills Demonstrated knowledge of workflow and reporting systems Preferred knowledge of property tax Preferred experience using Microsoft Development toolkit & database management tools Preferred experience implementation, support and best practices
Understanding of Microsoft Operating Environment (Network, Active Directory)
Understanding of confidentiality and privacy rules
Up to 50% travel
