A core member of the Enterprise Marketing Management-Tealeaf Team, this product marketing professional will be responsible for product messaging, marketing asset development, pipeline dynamics/measurement, sales plays and sales enablement, guiding responses to analyst reports and "waves", and supporting/guiding PR messages for IBM’s Tealeaf portfolio. This Product Marketing Manager must be willing to embrace challenge, work across multiple IBM brands and functions, and work closely with the product management teams to bring a unified set of Tealeaf and customer experience management solutions offerings to the global market.

Responsibilities include:
  • Develop and drive execution of an integrated marketing plan that creates pipeline for our customer experience management solutions through IBM Tealeaf marketing initiatives like Industry Blueprint Solutions, EMM, etc...
  • Collaborate with product management developing a thorough understanding of the market and defining Tealeaf’s market positioning, target buyer and value proposition within the market segment.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and ongoing market tracking activities in order to develop appropriate sales-enablement tools.
  • Collaborate with product management, research and understand industry-specific ebusiness challenges, develop and manage vertical-specific messaging, and educate sales team on how best to position Tealeaf features and benefits.
  • Provide content and then drive development of all collateral for this market segment, including brochures, videos and demos.
  • Working with the Sales Enablement team to create and deliver sales enablement material to both the Tealeaf field sales team as well as other closely related teams where we expect to drive synergy revenue e.g. EMM.
  • Attend and staff pedestals at industry and IBM events, engaging in conversations and demonstrations with customers and prospects.
  • Understanding and communicate routes to market, and channel enablement requirements to meet the revenue and profit goals.
  • Acts as Tealeaf’s industry spokesperson to the press, analyst community, via IBM AR/PR, and in industry speaking engagements
  • Providing guidance on market positioning, messaging, value propositions, and differentiation into the marketing management and demand programs teams in order to effectively meet the needs of the market segment.
  • Representing marketing position, guidance, naming and product categorization into the IPMT process, collaborating with both product management and market segment management teams.
Required

Bachelor's Degree

At least 3 years experience in Product Marketing, Product Management or Marketing Communication

At least 1 year experience in Product Marketing for enterprise software applications

At least 1 year experience in Applying proven, excellent interpersonal and communications skills

At least 2 years experience in Ability to present to senior executives is required.

At least 1 year experience in Working closely with and supporting a direct field sales team, including the development of sales tools such as sales presentations and product demonstrations. Proven success working with customers

Readiness to travel 25% travel annually

English: Fluent

Preferred

Master's Degree

At least 5 years experience in Product Marketing, Product Management or Marketing Communication

At least 3 years experience in Product Marketing for enterprise software applications

At least 3 years experience in Applying proven, excellent interpersonal and communications skills

At least 3 years experience in Ability to present to senior executives is required.
