The Team Lead, Solar Proposal Generation will have several responsibilities related to the solar qualification process, but the primary functions will be to:

1) Perform with high degree of competency concerning solar pre-qualification rating for customers, prop-gen initial system design, and solar sales proposal generation.

2) Manage Proposal Generation Team and internal Solar Rating team on a daily, weekly, & ongoing basis

3) Act as bottom line on Proposal Generation and Rating product, accountable to targets

4) Drive overall volume and quality of work through trainings, feedback, 1-on-1 meetings, weekly team meetings, and daily in-the-weeds management

Essential Responsibilities of Role include the following (and may expand as the division grows):

. Perform daily responsibilities in a Proposal Generation role, estimated at 75% of total work

. Conduct weekly 1-on1 meetings with Proposal Generation and Rating staff

. Run Weekly Proposal Generation Meeting: Goals, Throughput, Performance to Metrics

. Run Weekly Rating Meeting: Goals, Throughput, Performance, Feedback

. Meet weekly with S3 Inside Sales Manager

. Monitor staff performance on an ongoing basis and give effective feedback

. Develop Weekly Schedules for teams

. Drive workflow and prioritizations across teams

. Communication for Proposal Generation & Rating team across post-sale divisions & Step 3 Inside Sales

. Assist in interview process for potential additional resources

. Assist in development of new processes per teams’ workflow

. Report out daily and weekly to management per production

. Manage staff on a daily basis, problem solve, managerial back up

o Proven ability to highlight improvements to the process outside core scope

· Additional Skills

o Able to work comfortably in Google SketchUp, Pictometry, Prop-Gen Tools, and Sales Force

o Able to communicate effectively with team members on overlapping responsibilities

o Effective communicative action with management

o Works well with Step 3 Inside Sales team concerning scheduled visits and fast-tracking appointments
