Description
The VC Team Lead will guide other team members and work with the network team developing network infrastructure standards for video conferencing and control system quality. In addition, the VC Team Lead will interface with consultants and integrators providing new work quotes and integration coordination. The VC Team Lead is responsible for providing updates to management on current VC projects and operations, providing solutions to business needs, and seeking innovative new A/V technology.
Responsibilities:
Lead A/V Service Delivery team and work with the network team developing industry best standards for HD video conferencing
Work with network team developing settings for Crestron control network and RoomView SE integration
Work with team and Polycom develop global standards on Polycom HDX endpoints, RMX bridges, RSS recording device, and CMA gatekeeper
Work with team and Polycom on Microsoft Lync integration with the Polycom infrastructure
Book and support video conference meetings as needed
Support of live and offsite event video conferencing
Develop video web streaming infrastructure for archival and live meeting purposes
Work with A/V consultants and business units by providing AV architectural direction and approval of change orders
Manage A/V integration and consult on business' AV requirements
Provide innovative solutions for remote and off-shore video conference systems
Develop with the team A/V lifecycle management plans
Develop and report VC-related metrics to SDM on a monthly basis
Manage AV department's objectives and operational activities
Lead and direct a team of AV SME team in their daily operational activities and project initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related degree
7+ years in the audio/visual industry
CTS or CTS-D, preferred
Crestron DMC-T/D/E preferred
CCNA or CCENT preferred
ITIL Certification preferred
Able to read and understand A/V technical drawings
Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Communicator products
Experience with Microsoft Lync and OCS, especially with respect to Polycom integration
Experience with configuration and management of all Polycom video infrastructure products, including RMX, CMA, and RSS
Experience with configuration and management of Crestron RoomView SE 7.2
