The primary purpose of this position is to supervise employees and perform projects associated with leading customer service within the HR and Employee Services area. This includes defining processes and best practices for ConAgra Foods, supervising the administration and overall integrity of HR best practices and PeopleSoft transactions, maintaining a high degree of customer service, ensuring compliance with SOX controls and legal regulations, and identifying opportunities and implementing methods for continuous process improvement. |
Supervise and develop customer service staff to establish/maintain an effective team.
Foster an innovative environment that promotes professional and personal development; makes development of others a core ingredient to success.
Prepare and deliver performance reviews to direct reports.
Maintain data and process controls to ensure the accuracy of employee information.
Ensure all transactions are performed in accordance with SOX controls as well as in accordance with established policies and legal regulations (i.e. ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FLSA, FMLA, ADEA, FCRA, EPA, Title VII, etc.).
Assist with the implementation of corporate HR initiatives.
Define and implement processes and best practices.
Evaluate effectiveness of processes and procedures and develop improvements as needed.
Support internal and external audits.
Ensure tools, metrics, personnel, and training are in place to deliver high quality customer service.
Ensure adherence to defined customer service measures.
Serve as the central point of contact for escalated issues for areas of expertise and special projects as assigned.
Provide HR, Benefits and Payroll support to personnel at all levels within the organization.
Demonstrate ability to effectively work in a team environment both within and outside of assigned area of responsibility.
Participate in special projects, such as mergers/acquisitions, policy updates, customer requests, and system initiatives.
Bachelor’s Degree in HR or Business Administration required
Minimum of 3-4 years supervisory experience
Minimum 3 years HR-related experience
PeopleSoft experience preferred
Working knowledge of related laws and regulations including ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FLSA, FMLA, ADEA, FCRA, EPA, Title VII, etc.
Strong leadership and management skills as demonstrated by employment in positions of progressive responsibility and expertise
Solid planning, analysis and detail-oriented skills
Self-motivated and independent problem solving ability
Proven written and verbal communication skills
Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information
Ability to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions
Willingness to work in a team environment
Computer skills, including word processing, excel spreadsheet and database within a Windows environment
