Cargill Kitchen Solutions, formerly Sunny Fresh Foods, is a leading marketer of high value, further-processed egg products in the United States. With processing plants in Minnesota, Iowa and Michigan, our customers include premier quick-service restaurant chains as well as food manufacturers.
You will play a vital role in the success of a department and Cargill Kitchen Solutions. As a Team Leader/Production Supervisor, you will develop a deep understanding of production responsibilities and assess and initiate opportunities for improvement. You will create and promote a team-building environment, which promotes customer and stakeholder enthusiasm. Also, you will implement and recognize continuous improvement through ensuring stakeholder involvement in problem solving and decision-making. Additionally, you are responsible for executing safety initiatives and communicating safety awareness. This position will assure all HACCP's, GMP's, and SOP's are executed as planned. This position will communicate business results and achievement of departmental goals and milestones. Lastly, you will promote stakeholder focus through training and development and be a leader for change, new ideas, and getting the job done. Opportunities exist on second and third shift, but you must be willing to work all shifts during your training.
60% - Development and supervision of direct and indirect reports
20% - Develop strategies for operations of assigned area to include technical optimization of processes
10% - Oversee product quality to ensure total customer satisfaction
10% - Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned

Bachelors Degree. If no degree, 4+ years of equivalent experience
Prior experience in food operation/processing and/or manufacturing environments
Computer literacy and eagerness to learn SAP
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to handle flexible and varying hours. Must be willing to work on all shifts
Bachelors Degree in Processing, Food Engineering, or Food Science.
Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment
SAP experience and knowledge
Ability to relocate to our plants in Michigan, Iowa, and Minnesota long-term
