This position coordinates allocated personnel and material resources of a team comprising specific specialty services; collaborates with the department leaders to ensure an adequate quantity of supplies, equipment and human resources; collaborates with team members to ensure a concerted effort in providing effective and efficient patient care; and collaborates with the physicians and staff to ensure a safe environment for the patient. Prerequisites: • RN License is required, issued by the PA State Board of Nursing. • Successful completion of a BSN is recommended or enrolled in accredited program. Essential Job-Related Experience: • Demonstrated positive customer relation and human resource skills. • Experience as a charge nurse/resource nurse or chairperson/assistant chairperson/member of a shared government council or unit council. • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to interact positively with all individuals. • Three (3) years of pediatric experience; three (3) years chemotherapy administration experience (1East/South). • Five (5) years experience in the care of the mentally ill (Behavioral Health). • Five (5) years obstetrical/neonatal experience (FBBC). • One (1) year Cath Lab experience (Cath Lab). • One (1) year Critical Care experience (Cath Lab). • ACLS (Cath Lab). • CPR Certification. • Ability to maintain/update the computer competencies as required for the position. Preferred Job-Related Experience: • APLS certification (1 East/South). • IV Therapy experience. • Five (5) years medical/surgical experience. • Neonatal Resuscitation Certification (FBBC).
