The Technical Account Manager is our mobile product specialist, equally fluent in the latest features of our mobile offerings as well as learning and understanding our clients’ media strategies. A successful Technical Account Manager becomes an internal consultant for his/her clients, repackaging the Rubicon Project’s mobile products and services to enhance his/her clients’ mobile offerings.

  • Primary client resource for all mobile product services and support including but not limited to new publisher onboarding, new release training, day-to-day account oversight, maintaining up-to-date platform specifications and how-to documents
  • You are technical; you will use web and mobile technology to troubleshoot and document results
  • You enjoy working with customers; you will need to anticipate, respond to, and track all client requests through appropriate troubleshooting and case escalation
  • You are organized and enjoy managing multiple ongoing projects; you will liaise with Director of Client Services, Yield Managers, and Account Managers to ensure customer experience is seamless
  • Mastery of all internal tools including RFM, REVV, RFD, Salesforce, Helix
  • Bachelors degree required, some undergraduate coursework in computer science preferred
  • Strong analytic, strategic, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and JavaScript, intermediate knowledge of Excel
  • Experience in providing excellent customer service
  • Prior experience with ad management systems, mobile technology, and/or quality assurance support a plus
  • Candidates will be required to participate in a short writing exercise
