We are looking for a Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting Manager to perform duties associated with our internal and external financial reporting process. This individual will also be responsible for driving towards best practices in financial reporting compliance and for providing technical accounting advice on emerging accounting, reporting and business issues as they arise within the Company. In addition, this manager will be responsible for ensuring Sarbanes-Oxley Act Section 404 compliance in the consolidation and financial reporting process, and handling special projects, as needed. This position reports to the Director of Financial Reporting and has one direct report.

The Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting Manager will manage the external financial reporting process; prepare the external SEC (e.g. 10-K and 10Q and other SEC filings as needed) financial statements and related disclosures on a quarterly and annual basis, as well as, assist in the preparation and oversight of the Company’s earnings releases and scripts. During month-end close, this individual will be responsible to prepare reporting calendars, journal entries and account reconciliations. The candidate will also perform the monthly consolidation, including preparation of consolidating journal entries and generate internal financial reports. The candidate will coordinate with our foreign operations during the month-end close to perform a review of financial results, ensure US GAAP reconciliations are performed at the subsidiary level, and handle special projects, as needed. The Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting Manager will need to be proactive to research technical accounting guidance and analyze the potential impact on the Company. Other responsibilities will include assisting with the corporate audit, as well as statutory financial statement audits.

Job Requirements :
A minimum of 7 years of experience in public accounting required. The ideal candidate will be a CPA with SEC reporting experience and a strong knowledge of financial statement preparation and generally accepted accounting principles. Must be proactive, detail-oriented, a self-starter, able to take responsibility and maintain high quality and accuracy in reporting with specific deadlines. This position requires the ability to clearly and concisely document technical accounting and reporting matters. The ideal candidate must be able to effectively communicate complex accounting issues verbally to various levels of management. The individual must be able to work independently and proactively to accurately analyze diverse types of data and apply consistent standards to work product. This individual must be flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions, possess the ability to adapt to the Company’s frequently changing needs and priorities, and meet deadlines. Experience with multi-national companies preferred. A high degree of proficiency in Excel and Word is a must. Experience with Oracle is preferred.
