Summary:
Efficiently monitor threats to, and the structural integrity and vulnerabilities of, systems supporting United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) missions, primarily the Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) mission systems and Nuclear Command and Control (NC2), but also those supporting space operations; integrated missile defense; global intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance; and countering WMD proliferation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide expertise related to mission-area systems and architectures to capture, analyze, and explain technical requirements to the government and contractor J2 team.
  • Assist in providing research and analytic support regarding cyber and general doctrine, policies, strategies, capabilities, and intent to conduct cyber and general political/military operations of various foreign countries
  • Monitor emerging cyber threat tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTs degree in related field; however, additional years of related experience may be substituted for formal education.
  • Familiarity with NC2 systems
  • Familiarity with Architecture understanding of cryptographic capabilities consistent with operational imperatives and mission environments
  • Familiarity with intelligence analysis and intelligence functions
  • Ability to solely write and/or support the development of information papers of value for senior leadership using analytic tradecraft standards as prescribed by the government client Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, Clearance: TS/SCI

The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.

During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions.- Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.

Minimum Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in the US Military and/or Intelligence
  • 5+ Community Experience with cyberspace operations, network configuration and management, or cyber threats
  • Bachelors degree in related field; however, additional years of related experience may be substituted for formal education.
  • Familiarity with NC2 systems
  • Familiarity with Architecture understanding of cryptographic capabilities consistent with operational imperatives and mission environments
  • Familiarity with intelligence analysis and intelligence functions
  • Ability to solely write and/or support the development of information papers of value for senior leadership using analytic tradecraft standards as prescribed by the government client Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, Clearance: TS/SCI
