Job Description: The AT&T Digital Experience (DE) organization is seeking a digital experience Technical Architect to help ensure that our online customer experiences are accessible to our customers with disabilities. We are looking for someone with prior experience in the accessibility field, with a focus on mobile (smartphone and tablet) and web-based applications. The selected candidate will be responsible helping teams during the planning stages of the projects and for conducting Web accessibility audits of pre and post-production Web pages using automated testing software and hand review protocols. The candidate will supply technical solutions to bring pages into compliance with our DE Web Accessibility Policy and will provide guidance in fixing accessibility errors to delivery staff in a variety of production disciplines across the DE organization. The candidate will document accessibility enhancements and support the creation of reusable web components without compromising innovation. The candidate will coordinate with business partners, web site delivery teams, Corporate Compliance, Public Policy, and other AT&T organizations to ensure that all DE deliverables comply with internal and external requirements and regulations. The candidate will research changing industry accessibility standards and work with other teams to update internal policies and standards.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, a behavioral or social science, or other related discipline;
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities on tight deadlines

• Must have a broad and deep technical knowledge and be able to learn new technologies rapidly and independently.
• Must be familiar with Customer Accessibility issues and solutions.
• Must have experience working with tools designed to work with people with disabilities.
• Masters Degree in Computer Science, Human Factors, User Experience Design, Instructional Design, or a relted field;
• Multi-disciplinary Web production experience (coding, designing, writing, backend programming, testing, producer/project manager, etc.) preferred.
• Experience working in software product development with intimate familiarity with SDLC.
• Experience working with Privacy/Legal and Regulatory teams.
• Proven ability to show solid judgment and make balanced decisions under pressure. Knowledge of FCC and other government regulations pertaining to web accessibility;
• Familiarity with accessible HTML5, CSS3 and ARIA Web site development techniques;
• Expertise in WCAG 2.0 Web accessibility standard;
• Experience working with automated Web accessibility testing tools (enterprise testing tools experience a plus);
• Proficient with screen reader testing of Web content and an up-to-date knowledge on the range of assistive technology available to people with a disability
