Since 2006, Appirio has helped companies power their business with the cloud. We provide professional services backed by a team of 700+ strategy and technology experts, an innovative technology platform, and a 600,000 person crowdsourcing community that lets enterprises move faster, rethink processes and change the way their employees work. We’ve been recognized by organizations such as the World Economic Forum, the Wall Street Journal, Gartner and IDC, and are backed by Sequoia Capital, GGV and General Atlantic.

Cloud, social and mobile are changing the face of IT and business, and Appirio is at the heart of this revolution. We offer employees the opportunity to work with industry pioneers, the latest in technology, and some of the most innovative customers in the world.

TopCoder is a crowdsourcing development community and marketplace that matches companies who need cloud development work with a worldwide community of cloud experts. It is a true market where businesses tap into skills and pay for results (vs. effort), and where developers get access to a new world of opportunity with the cloud.

Another way to put it - TopCoder is a community of software professionals who are engaged and treated as athletes who have a variety of skill sets that contribute to building cloud solutions. For the Athlete, they are continually compensated for their performance, unlike most sports where past performance can land you many profits whether or not you are currently performing. The better they perform, the more they earn and in addition they are constantly refining their craft, improving, and learning from others who are masters of their craft.

On the flip side you have the Customer who benefits with rapid innovation, prototypes, applications, and speed to market, while not paying for time but rather results! We are looking for Architects who want to be a part of this technology shift by coaching these individual player’s contributions into a single customer success.

This position is not ideal for people who want to code the majority of their of time, but rather integrate multiple code streams.
