Technical Architects support large Government technology programs in meeting their mission objectives and program goals. They collaborate with homeland security stakeholders and users to analyze their needs and design solutions aligned with Federal and agency enterprise architecture. They provide technical implementation recommendations, oversee the development of code and/or scripts required to develop enhancements; and supervisie incident/problem classification, investigation and analysis.
8 years of relevant experience on large, complex information technology programs
Experience managing development associated on very complex databases
Experience managing development teams using Agile Scrum techniques
Experience providing policy, planning and briefing support
Outstanding oral and written communications skills
Strong interest in homeland security programs
Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate scientific, engineering, or technical discipline required
Active clearance a plus
Open Source frameworks, including: Spring, Struts 1.0, Struts Test Case for JUNIT
Development Environment Tools, including: Subversion, Ant, Maven, Jenkins
Web Services Tools, including: WS-* Specifications, XML Translation tools, SOAP
Oracle RDBMS 10/11 (and subsequent versions)
IBM Message Queue
