Must have experience in the financial vertical, particularly the Wealth Management sector. Experience with Client Onboarding and coordinating with other stakeholders involved in the onboarding process. The Technical Architect will analyze client objectives and site user needs to assist the project team in validating and refining strategic business initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
â¢The Technical Architect is a subject matter expert (SME) in NAO technical architecture, responsible for conducting technical due diligence and advising on the data and technology vision underlying NAO and future state reference architecture. Frames the evaluation of the build/buy options from a technology perspective. Facilitates Technology workshops and has primary responsibility for Technology NAO Roadmap deliverables and infrastructure and applications-related projects ROI for the business case.
â¢Address the complexity and diversity of technical platform requirements to support business priorities for NAO; discuss a best of breed component-based approach to workflow and document and data management through mid-level detail of selected vendor capabilities; develop criteria to inform the build/buy evaluation; review potential future state reference architectures.
â¢Able to identify architecture system transformation impacts. Lead solution teams and provide consultation for implementing the system transformation solutions and bring them to closure. Identify and propose Solution architecture.
â¢Ensuring continuity of services by providing the planning, technical leadership, and project coordination necessary to implement software products and resolve technical problems. Develop end-to-end systems solution for deployment. Responsible for technical aspects of end-to-end solutions delivery, deployment, system integration, and customer acceptance of the project.
â¢Demonstrated ability to lead, plan, and support a functionally organized, project oriented environment, with staff working on a wide variety of project activities. Ability to forecast, develop and implement organizational initiatives. Excellent project management skills, including demonstrated ability to deliver projects on deadline that meets organizational goals.
â¢Prepare software project status reports and project plans. Creates workflow and design diagrams for development staff or technical support staff to use programs/standards/procedures and policies. Monitor performance of application quality after implementation.
â¢Analyze, define, and document process improvements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, interface with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, and outputs.
â¢Analyze strategic enterprise goals including Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing, Data Management, and Data Governance.
â¢Investigate and plan for technology changes.
â¢Analyze and estimate feasibility, time, compatibility with other systems, and computer capabilities.
â¢Research and evaluate software and hardware to assist in enterprise solution architect.
â¢Analyze, assist installs, and test solutions of internally/externally developed application programs.
â¢Extensive Financial Services experience, particularly Wealth Management.
â¢Experience with Client Onboarding and coordinating with other stakeholders/functions involved in the onboarding process including KYC, AML, Client Services, Reference Data, and others.
â¢Consultant is required to have a minimum of 7-10 years of experience, including a minimum of 5 years of in the financial industry.
Required Technical Skills:
â¢Extensive experience in Architecting and Designing large scalable solutions. Experience designing real-time, event-driven systems and service-oriented architectures.
â¢Experience with Agile development.
â¢Experience defining and enforcing design and development standards.
â¢Expert OO analysis and design skills.
â¢Must have the ability to manage a varying workload and prioritize work based upon client requirements.
â¢Must be able to present themself as confident and articulate with a consultative approach and strong business client facing skills.
â¢Must be an excellent team player capable of collaborating with non-technical business professionals as well as information systems professionals.
â¢Must have experience as a lead architect on large, multi-year development projects.
â¢The employee must have the ability to understand and articulate the effect of technology solutions on business processes and outcomes.
