Leading financial services institution seeks a Technical Architect who will provide strategic architectural and technology leadership for the design, architecture, and development of distributed applications and services.Will provideleadership and guidance for the development and architecture design of high performance messaging, reporting and transaction processing products and/or services by defining and developing architectures, detailed designs specifications, development, implementations and successful delivery of the solution.Will workwith developers, product managers, and customer application experts to define solutions, products and modules with required features and functionality.
Qualifications: 8+ years in product architecture and development. 8+ years of design and development of high performance messaging and transaction processing systems experience in the financial or telecom industries. Strong knowledge of architectural principles, frameworks and best practices. Strong experience in object oriented design and development in Java and/or C++. Experience with UNIX and Windows operating systems. Experience in at least one JEE Application Server, webSphere and/or JBOSS experience is preferred. Strong experience in JEE technologies and framework (Spring, JSF2 preferable) Hibernate, Websphere Application Server (WAS), JMS/Websphere MQ, Oracle AQ, Oracle 11g and support integration with other applications via APIs(SOAP/REST) 8+ years experience as a JEE Architect, certification is desired. 8+ years of experience in performance and scalability of highly distributed applications. Experience in SOA, SOAP, REST WSDL, XML, cloud and API standards. Strong understanding of Java/JEE and SCA design patterns, packaging, and deployment is required. Good understanding of Server side design patterns (e.g. State Machine, Adaptor, Decorator etc) Should be able to understand the Activity diagrams, Sequence diagrams and code for the facades, make decisions on Stateful and Stateless objects. Perform Code Reviews and evaluate tools for code review automation.
