As a Technical Architect, you will responsible for assembling firm wide services and infrastructure solutions to support complex, multi-system environments including the production, testing and development environments of the Auto Financing and Student Lending application portfolio. Primary expertise/responsibility to analyze incoming business and application development requirements, determine the appropriate infrastructure solutions, and provide the cost and level of effort to implement the target state solution. Works with the development, production and support teams to provide design guidelines and imparts knowledge on technical trends and solutions. Provide expert knowledge of technical distributed and middleware architecture, and serve as Subject Matter Expert to Business, Operations and Technology teams on those topics. Identify the hardware and software components the application will use for implementation and provide instruction on how to appropriately implement application components.
You will identify and communicate risks associated with component or application implementation. Provide support and guidance to the development teams during the analysis, development and testing processes. Prepare technical distributed and middleware architecture deliverables in accordance with JPMC Chase Global Technology standards and methodologies consistent with the target solutions architecture. Work effectively within team to identify and resolve issues. Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals at all levels
Minimum of 5 years of Technical Architect work experience
Solid skills in multiple programming languages, systems, as well as systems design
Knowledge of the overall business operating models and underlying technical architecture
Strong skills in of project management methodologies and tools
Strong middleware and internet technology experience
Strong skills in architecture methodologies, standards and tools
Understanding of relevant technologies and development life cycles
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's degree in a computer related field and/or financial/accounting related field

Demonstrated competencies critical to success: Conceptualization, foresight, enterprise perspective, consensus building, leadership, and communication
Understands and can apply knowledge of Internet/Intranet technology, eCommerce, enterprise networking, and Database to infrastructure solutions
Advanced written and oral communication capabilities, ability to influence and successfully interface with executive leadership
