Job Responsibilities
Lead the development and refinement of the art content pipeline for all disciplines with an eye toward balancing budget, time and quality constraints
Create tools & scripts that support art creation efforts
Integrate 3D and 2D assets (UI, characters, animation, textures, environments) from multiple sources into a Flash 11 and mobile pipeline
Collaborate and communicate with art and engineering leadership to develop and improve workflow
Proactively optimize and improve game performance, while simultaneously pushing in-game art quality
Work with dynamic teams of artists and engineers, both in-house and external
Work with talented individuals across disciplines (art, engineering and design) to bring the game’s visual design to life
Identify, communicate and mitigate art pipeline risks
Experience & Skills
3+ years of experience in game development using Maya, 3DS Max or equivalent
Expert in 3D game character rigging
Experience with VFX pipelines
Strong understanding of 3D hardware and its impact to art production
Able to document and teach game art production techniques
Able to work well with a team in a fast-paced, cross-discipline, and iterative setting
Additional Requirements

Pluses
Experience with Flash and Actionscript
Strong scripting skills
Shader programming experience
3D character animation skills
Experienced working on and playing RPGs, strategy and action games
