This position will formally report to the Strategy, Portfolio, Services and Controls organization within the Information Technology Company, but work for the entire IT Function. The successful candidate will work effectively across the company, shape IT Service financial management strategies, while providing enhanced analytics and improved visibility to IT spend.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Collaborates with IT Leaders and Business Partners on IT Total Cost of Ownership, financial metrics, ITC cost recovery, cost transparency initiatives as well as value realization alternatives.
Generates and deploys the annual Cost Recovery Plan in alignment with corporate Cost Distribution Guidelines.
Ensures alignment and coordination with IT Function Integrated Planning.
Develops Service Billing Engagement Documents (SBED), supports business partner engagements.
Designs and delivers complex What If analysis and ad hoc reports.
Validates impact analyses and provides second-level analytical support for proposed changes to cost allocation methodologies in alignment with the governance process.
Implements changes to cost allocation methodologies as well as mapping of costs to IT services.
Accountable for providing guidance relative to the governance processes, and to promote changes through the system.
Works with Asset Teams, Integrated Planning and ITC Finance to plan, improve, automate and manage current and new interfaces to Service Costing application.
Responsible for analyzing and understanding data imported from BPC, BW and other sources.
Creates and delivers breakage reports identifying data gaps for assigned products and services.
Works with other TBM Data Quality Analysts and Service/Finance analysts to import corrected data.
Analyzes existing configurations and partners with Apptio and asset teams to recommend optimization opportunities to improve application performance.
Develops and helps implement plans for new services, tracking and incorporation of other IT function costs and recovery.
Primary contact and subject matter expert for Apptio technical questions.
Designs and configures all approved changes into Apptio, and maintains current system and supporting documentation.
Maintains and manages Service Costing training materials and provides ongoing awareness sessions when appropriate.
Provides on boarding training for general Apptio application usage as well as maintaining system access and role definitions.
10 years of Corporate Information Technology experience.
2 years Technical Business Management and Apptio Software experience.
Demonstrated ability to engage with IT leaders, build relationships, successful partnerships, and drive strategies.
Strong Analytical skills.
