Job SummaryThe Technical Designer is responsible for implementing functionality and proprietary classes into already existing creative. This individual handles the technical integration of various features/technologies into rich media advertising units.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:-Utilizes Flash implementation, Actionscript coding, 3rd Party sevices and XML interaction proficiently and effectively.-Implements functionality and proprietary classes either from the ground up or into already existing creative -Performs the technical integration of features/technologies into rich media advertising units, including but not limited to, streaming video, sending/receiving dynamic data, form integration and validation and pollingKnowlege, Skills & Abilities Required-Strong design background with the ability to bring concepts to life through the proficient use of Flash IDE and AS3-Knowledge of animating flash-Understanding of how to leverage code to minimize K weight-Understanding of how to build efficient, light-weight applications-Excellent coding and action-scripting skills: AS3 (AS2 is a plus)-Knowledge of common graphics applications-Ability to work independently, handle multiple priorities and solve complex problems-Ability to work in fast-paced environment-Strong attention to detail-Strong organizational skills-HTML, CSS3 and Javascript (Jquery, extended libraries) a plus-Mobile experience a plusComputer & Software Experience-Microsoft Office-Experience with video and audio flash integration-Dynamic Content- XML, JSON, etc-Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Expert in FlashEducation & Business Experience-Bachelor's Degree-3+ years Flash and ActionScript experience Physical Requirements-The physical demands described here are representative of those that an employee must meet in order to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
