The Technical Director is responsible for the leadership in the design, development and delivery of technology-enabled applications, products and services to clients to a defined set of services as well as supporting the technical evolution of client solutions. The Technical Director coordinates and prioritizes the daily activities of the operations team aligned to deliver contracted services to the defined client base. The Technical Director, in coordination with the Client Services Group Director is responsible for meeting the contracted service levels outlined in client contracts, driving operational excellence within the service delivery functions and client retention.
This position includes the direct management of delivery resources as well as the matrix management of aligned resources.
The Technical Director position is a client facing position.
The Technical Director reports to the Operations Leader
The Technical Director will be responsible for:
Defining and documenting each of the client solutions within the client base they are responsible for Coordinating the delivery of contracted services to client - both daily operational execution services and technical project delivery Supporting the design and scoping of technical projects Working with the client, Client Services and functional experts to design technical and operational approaches necessary to meet defined business needs Guiding and prioritizing the work effort of the aligned operations team Collaborating with the functional leaders to ensure the quality and timeliness of work produced for clients meets the committed/contractual expectations Quality metrics and service levels associated with contracted services Monitoring the efficiency of the delivery resources Proactive management and advanced scheduling for all projects, campaigns and resources Collaborate with Client Services Group Director and Client Services Directors to understand client P&L and identify opportunities for margin improvement Coordinate efforts with the functional manager on the career development of associates aligned to deliver services to the Technical Directors assigned client base.
The Technical Director must be proficient in the service offerings of GSI Marketing Solutions - e.g. email marketing operations, data management & business intelligence/reporting.
