At Baker Hughes, the Illustrator position is responsible for providing technical support to the sales team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
Under direct supervision, prepares component part drawings, hook-ups, color graphics, slides, and transparencies of a detailed or schematic nature for all product lines.
Create wellborn schematics to support sales in the quotation process, approximately 2-3 per day.
Will work in a team environment under minimal supervision, so must be self-directed and motivated.
Will be responsible for meeting deadlines in a timely fashion.
Handles special projects, as assigned.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years of previous related experience.
Comfortable with meeting deadlines and multi-tasking.
Strong proficiency Auto-CAD, MS Office and Excel.
Good technical or mechanical aptitude.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Two years of previous experience OR Technical Degree or Certification for Auto-CAD preferred.
Demonstrated proficiency with MSO, Excel and/or SolidWorks
Ability to work well and communicate well with others.
OTHER DETAILS
Any graphic, technical, and/or mechanical experience is a plus.
