Ciber is seeking a Technical Lead in Charlotte, NC. This Technical Lead position is for merger integration project(s).
The primary job responsibilities include:
Completes high level technical design document using IT standard tool Enterprise Architect. Works with Solution Architect for review and approval.
Completes detailed design documentation using Enterprise Architect. Works with Solution Architect for review and approval.
Coordinates development tasks and deliverables. Oversees the work of the developers, reporting status of technical tasks to Project Manager.
Facilitates code reviews to ensure adherence to design and coding standards.
Coordinates and executes technical testing to ensure product is functioning as designed.
Facilitates implementation planning, documents deployment plan.
Facilitates mock implementations, ensuring deployment steps are accurately scheduled and time boxed. Documents contingency back-out plans.
Perform issue resolution and R&D on selected project aspects as needed.
Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, CS, or a business discipline, or equivalent work experience
7+ years of application development work experience with Visual Basic
5+ years Object Oriented Programming skills with .Net / C#.
Experienced in Object Oriented Design Methodologies and Tools
Demonstrated understanding and experience with N-Tier application architectures
Demonstrated understanding and experience producing high level and detail software architectural designs.
Demonstrated understanding and experience with data integration architectures including ODS and Data Warehouse concepts
Demonstrated programming skills using relational databases SQL, Oracle, and DB2
Experience developing for Windows/Intel and/or UNIX platforms
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with customers, management, and teammates
Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and properly prioritize required tasks to meet time schedules
Ability to easily and quickly learn application functionality and design/implement modifications as needed
Ability to work with external vendors of software packages and coordinate deliverables between internal and external teams
Strong knowledge of the IT Solution Delivery Life-Cycle and the ability to apply solution delivery best practices as defined
Proficient with UML and Use Case Methodologies and Detail Design Patterns and Packages
Ability to make quality application modifications across multiple platforms in a timely manner
Strong facilitation leadership, communication and influencing skills
Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in changing development environment (including software development in multiple languages)
Working knowledge of project management concepts and methods, ability to provide input to project plan technical tasks and estimates
An affinity for leading/mentoring small development teams, delegating and reviewing technical deliverables, resolving technical issues, coordinating deliverable tasks among a development team
Ability to provide legacy application integration and support
Self-awareness with strong desire for self-development and acquisition of skills
