The Technical Lead position is responsible for performing highly complex technical tasks. The position also requires managing the development efforts of the developers assigned to a given project. The incumbent of this position will be responsible for working with the development team on the actual implementation of different projects. He/she will be the interface between the project manager and the developers. The incumbent is also expected to provide technical guidance and leadership to lower classified personnel.
•Coordinating development efforts with other developers assigned to a given project ensure that the project requirements and goals are achieved.
•Responsible for solving technical problems for a project.
•Write documents for project progress reports, and code documentation. These documents may communicate highly complex information to individuals who may or may not be technically oriented
•Analyze systems, design, and implementation tactics across aspects of a project.
•Coordinate development timelines with outside resources to ensure that he project requirements and goals are achieved.
•Provide leadership in the implementation of new technologies, methodologies and procedures within the organization.
•Taking requirements and creating an implementation strategy.
•Planning and tasking those requirements out to developers
•Following up with the developers on a regular basis on these tasks
•Research and provide direction for technical issues that are presenting roadblocks
•Quality verification of code produced by developers
•Present to all levels of management as needed on technical issues.
•Technically competent (i.e. ASP.net)
•Familiar with Microsoft platform
•Excellent communication and organizational skills
•5 years minimum experience
•E-commerce experience is a plus.
•Persons filling this position should have a four-year college degree, or equivalent experience
