Amazon Web Services (AWS), a subsidiary of and a leader in cloud computing, is seeking a highly driven and talented individual with a passion for bringing customer success to life through written case studies. This is a great opportunity to play an important role in the Customer Reference Program at AWS.

As a Technical Marketing Writer, you will be responsible for creating case studies with select customers and partners that demonstrate how the AWS Cloud helps companies of all sizes drive IT innovation. These case studies are appear on the AWS website and are used in commercial presentations by sales, marketing, and executives as valuable proof points and evidence of the momentum behind cloud computing. Furthermore, in the Technical Marketing Writer position, you will be responsible for the following:
  • Conducting interviews with customers and partners on a broad range of cloud computing use cases across various industries and geographies
  • Managing the case study creation process from interviewing through final delivery/publication
  • Working with internal and external stakeholders to develop messaging and gather technical detail on how customers and partners are using AWS services successfully
  • Managing a high volume pipeline of case studies without sacrificing the quality of content
  • Working with the global marketing team to ensure case studies meet high standards in terms of quality, content, and messaging
  • Understanding, communicating, and reinforcing the AWS value proposition in all customer reference materials produced

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, writing, English, marketing, communications, or relevant field of study
  • Strong interviewing, editorial, and project management skills
  • Proven success working directly with customers and internal employees on developing publicly facing materials such as case studies
  • Understanding of cloud computing
  • Experience in a business-to-business (B2B) environment
  • A proven track record of managing multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines
  • The demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously; strong work ethic
  • Attention to detail a must

Preferred Qualifications
  • Customer Reference Program experience with high tech company/product/service
