Technical Operations Analyst (Job Number: 322755)
SAIC's Mission Support Business Unit is seeking a candidate to work as a Technical Operations Analyst with a dynamic team. The work includes the processing of messages, research of methodologies, support to other branches and offices both within and outside the customer group. The candidate must follow objectives and direction with regard to all tech/humint operational matters on the team. Candidate must therefore possess broad knowledge and experience with the customer operational and technical environment. Daily activity includes working independently and in a team environment to research and analyze information gathered and collected via Internet and internal government databases. Working knowledge of computer hardware/software and an understanding of computer/internet communications methods is required to accomplish daily tasks. Must be capable of working on complex problems and exercising independent judgment in developing techniques for obtaining results. Successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with personnel at all levels of government, commercial and other industry. Candidate must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment where program and process changes are the norm. Must possess excellent writing, communication, administrative and organizational skills. Ability to act independently to determine appropriate methods and supervise the appropriate action required.
Education: B.S./B.A. or other coursework with verifiable equivalent experience. Five years of professional experience, in addition to the required experience, may be substituted for degree.
Desired Skills: Foreign language skills are desirable. Testing support and system administration skills are highly beneficial.
- Candidate must possess a TS/SCI with polygraph
- Four years experience in intelligence analysis and/or target development acquired through experience within the Intelligence Community, must possess 9 years overall intelligence experience
- Ability to learn and operate a variety of software tools (email, web browser, PGP) and navigate between different applications, databases and networks
- Working knowledge of computer hardware/software and an understanding of computer/internet communications methods
- Research and writing skills
- Oral presentation skills
