The Technical Product Marketing Manager will lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of key initiatives in Tapjoy's consumer products. Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following as additional roles and/or focus will be needed as the company and department continues to grow and evolve:

Contribute to the company-wide strategic direction for mobile and translate that into concrete consumer-centric mobile product objectives
Drive the full mobile product development cycle in collaboration with Design and Engineering teams
Bring a detailed eye for HTML5 user experience and design to ensure features drive high adoption and customer delight
Leverage data to optimize the welcome path and improve retention or converting new users to engaged users
Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction
Define methods for quantifying success (or failure) and ensure that your team has a clear ability to understand and articulate its objectives
Research and stay up to speed on the competitive landscape
Participate in product launches to build technical product messaging, pitching Tapjoy's technology to analysts and press, developing consumer messaging and general support of the launch plan

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
3-5+ years technical product marketing or product management experience with consumer facing products (apps, websites, portals, etc.)
Strategic, analytical thinker with the initiative to see a program through from concept to completion
Experience with mobile development or mobile technologies
Well-versed and passionate about cutting-edge mobile social media; experience with advertising/gaming a plus
Ability to firmly grasp technical concepts, business goals, and the user experience, and optimize products given resource constraints
Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and juggle multiple assignments and changing priorities?
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision?
Incredible communications skills, knowing how to speak with both engineering, business intelligence, customer support, and sales audiences across different levels of technical understanding
Proven ability to define and execute product innovations with a fail-fast mentality
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment
