As a Technical Project Manager at Kabam, you will drive project tracking for the platform engineering team. You will plan requirements with the platform team as well as outside stakeholders and guide projects through to completion. Some examples of platform engineering projects include the Kabam Rewards Program, Mobile API Support, Mobile Application Development, BI Systems, Payment Systems, Game Integrations and much more! You are skilled in explaining your project status and recommendations to executives. You will ultimately be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks, making sound business decisions and gauging project timing as unforseen events materialize.

The Team :
You will be joining the Platform - Engineering team who work in a collaborative environment, interacting on a daily basis with the product managers, engineers and outside stakeholders. They are a team of very experienced Senior Engineers who are passionate about great engineering, mobile development and knowledge sharing. Our mission is to create systems that solve complex problems but also stand the test of time.

Day to Day :
The Technical Project Manager will interface with many different elements that make up the platform team and outside stakeholders, communicate to project stakeholders, identify risk/impact as well as manage much of the external communication and planning.

Coordinate outside stakeholders and team roadmap planning - short term (sprints) and long term (milestones).

Define engagement practices and processes: Ensure all aspects of the project are clearly defined, processes are documented, and staff is trained regarding expectations on the workflow.

Maintain the external movement (tracking and coordination) of the larger scale projects across the Platform engineering team.

Ensure all aspects of the project are clearly defined, documentation is organised & concise and engineering release processes are followed.

Work with the engineering team to promote clear project tracking throughout the organization. Career Progression:
This is a senior-level position. You will have the opportunity to be involved in large-scale, critical projects and have wide exposure to different functions throughout the company. The candidate who excels in this position will find ownership in their responsibilities and could grow within Kabam.

Education :Bachelor’s degree required; Requirements :
5-8 years of software project management experience.

Experience across all aspects of software development - platform or enterprise experience is required.

Experience with project management software (for example, Pivotal Tracker) including a support-oriented Project Management philosophy.

Flexible and agile: ability to adapt quickly and be effective in new situations in a highly dynamic environment.

Proven experience in providing complex project solutions across multiple disciplines that consider process and technology.

Ability to be a bridge between engineering and outside stakeholders.

Experience building software is required.

Experience with mobile platform development is REQUIRED.

Experience building a mobile game is a plus. Benefits:
