Our client, a national Not For Profit is looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to work closely with the Sr. Director of IT.

A Day in the Life:
Manage the day-to-day activities of enterprise-level projects.
Prioritize project activities.
Actively identify, track, mitigate and minimize project risks.
Track and monitor project issues and confront them openly for timely resolution. Escalate to the appropriate management level when necessary.
Maintain overall project schedule and the delivery of expected project objectives.
Report on project and major milestones including progress made against plan.
Actively lead, motivate, and challenge cross-functional and global teams.
Facilitate Project Meetings; Document Agendas/Minutes/Actions and decisions.
Assist with the identification and implementation of process improvements.
Manages third-party partner and/or vendor relationships, as necessary.
Ensure that client drivers and priorities are clearly communicated, understood and addressed. Focuses decision-making on business.
Develop relationships with key project stakeholders and ensures appropriate level of participation throughout project life cycle.

What You Bring to the Team:
Excellent combination of technology and business understanding.
Understanding of the project management methodologies and ITIL framework. PMP/ITIL certification - a plus
Command of enterprise infrastructure in a high volume, highly available set of applications (J2EE, Unix/Linux, Windows Servers, Web Servers, LANs, WANs, VPNs, Backups and remote connections)
Strong understanding of Cloud hosting and migrating applications/file servers to Cloud
Knowledge of Internet applications (Web, TCP/IP networking)

Technical Domain Knowledge:
Telephony, Voice and Data
Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS)
Standard network services
Disk storage
System/Network security
Configuration management
Version control (Subversion, Git etc.)
System provisioning for MySQL servers
System and network fault troubleshooting and resolution
