Deep Focus is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to join the production team. Our ideal candidate will be a team player who is bright, enthusiastic, and insightful with the ability to understand multiple facets of a site, in order to achieve the overall project goal. In this position you will interface with awesome Account, Creative and Techy people. We need someone who has the ability to perform well under pressure (not freak out all the time), adhere to deadlines (no late sleepers), manage multiple sites simultaneously (yes, that means multi-tasking) and still bring energy and creativity to work each day (and of course a smile). It is imperative that you be self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability. This is a great position with lots of room for growth.
Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
Developing detailed project SOW’s and with schedules
Working alongside account management, creative and technology services to ensure timely progression on full cycle projects
Prepare and maintain project documentation including project plan, status reports, internal meeting notes, change requests and resource requests
Coordinate closely with technology services to assess timing and resourcing for development projects
Coordinate with client technical teams to help gather requirements and manage UAT
Manage handoff of necessary assets to technical team including final PSDs, specifications, content matrixes and tracking documents
Assist technical lead in managing development milestones through an accepted practice such as SCRUM or agile.
Work closely with technical staff to help lead and coordinate the QA process
Organizing and setting clear expectations in regard to tasks and deliverables
Manage review and handoff of internal deliverables between account, creative and technical teams
Providing clear and accurate communication, materials and documentation to team
Gathering and organizing all client related assets
Conducting thorough site quality assurance testing
Troubleshooting technical issues with the technology department
Maintaining continuity, learning and quality assurance across projects
Skills & Experience:
4+ years’ experience in project management in an agency working on sites, social media, and display ad campaigns
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from a four-year accredited college or university
Excellent verbal and written skills
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Project, Word, Excel, Power Point)
Experience with project managements tools (ie. Activecollab, Basecamp, Microsoft Project, etc)
Experience with software development processes such as agile or SCRUM
Experience with software development management tools such as JIRA, Redmine, Bugzilla, etc.
Knowledge of HTML, Photoshop, Flash and server-side technology a definite plus
