Job Description

We are currently seeking a Technical Project Manager with a desire to learn, innovate, and grow with the company. This is a junior level position and intended for applicants with 1-3 years of work experience or commensurate academic/vocational experience.

Solution Development and Delivery
Provides technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration for client engagement from definition phase through implementation. Reviews work of development team. Easily recognizes system deficiencies and implements effective solutions. Technical Effort Management
Creates and executes development plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Keeps project team well informed of status of development effort and serves as liaison between development staff, management, and client. Manages technical resources within budget and project schedule. Consistently delivers high-quality services to our clients. Project Communication
Facilitates team and client meetings effectively. Holds regular status meetings with project team. Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations. Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion. Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully. Client Management
Manages client interaction and expectations regarding development efforts. Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative technical solutions. Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships. Builds a knowledge base of each client's business, systems and objectives.


Technical Expertise
Understands database concepts and effectively employs different database design techniques. Possesses demonstrated work experience with a relational database management system. Understands the benefits of the various programming languages. Possesses demonstrable knowledge of client/server and internet systems architectures. Understands browser / client specific compatibility issues. Technology Skills
Understanding of relational databases and Structured Query Language (SQL). Knowledge of web server software and web page design. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
We seek applicants with either: 1-3 years of prior full-time work in technical project management or leading a programming team. B.S in Computer Science, Software Engineering, etc or corresponding Certification from Vocational Program Prior work and/or internship experience in the pharmaceutical industry and an understanding of pharmaceutical sales and marketing data is preferred.
