Zynga is looking for a Technical Project Manager to successfully manage project across our Network Operation and IT teams! This position is embedded into a variety of teams and is the key to a successful operation. Project Managers at Zynga are highly valued for their keen ability to execute. As the primary communication and data management point, the project manager is the key to delivering successful projects in a timely manner.

  • Engage with stakeholders
  • Develop Project Plans
  • Direct project resources
  • Monitor and manage the project schedule
  • Monitor and manage the project budget
  • Monitor and manage the project risks
  • Deal with operational issues
  • Organize meetings; ensuring those minutes are taken
  • Report to the management, raising strategic issues
  • Prepare Project Status Reports and Project Change Requests
  • Ensure projects meets requirements and objectives
  • Manage project team members
  • Negotiate and resolve issues as they arise across areas of the project and where they impact on other activities, systems and projects
  • Look after the interests of the project team
  • Organize and chair project reference group meetings, as appropriate
  • Communicate project status to project sponsor, all team members, and other relevant stakeholders and involved parties .
  • Maintain project documentation
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
  • 5+ years or equivalent experience in the IT industry
    5+ years IT solution delivery experience within a consulting organization
  • 5+ years project lead experience with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects for Fortune 500 customers
  • Experience working on and managing enterprise scale projects
  • Agile SCRUM, PMP or Big 5 experience a plus
  • Detailed knowledge of Internet technologies, thorough understanding of eCommerce, Online Marketing, Web Analytics and Security
  • Implementation experience within data center Experience in one or more web development languages, methodologies, and/or architectures - HTTP, DNS, .NET, C#, JSP, ASP, ASP.NET, PHP, Tomcat, Apache
  • Must possess excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Experience in managing small, mid and large-scale projects is required
  • Experience with large IT infrastructure, Telecommunications and network projects
  • Experience with large network operations environments such as found in telecom, and business firms
  • Experience in problem solving, process improvement methods, and business re-engineering methods
  • Ability to define project management processes, tools and templates as required for the project
  • Ability to adapt, to be flexible, and to learn quickly in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to quickly establish credibility and rapport with technical team members
  • Excellent organizational skills including ability to prioritize tasks efficiently with high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines while coordinating several projects at a time and responding to changing business and technical conditions
