Technical Publications Administrator

General Summary
The Technical Publications Administrator reports and is responsible to Manager of Technical Publications, ensuring the integrity and completeness of the Silver Airways Technical Library.

Essential Job Functions:
· Establish and maintain the Technical Publications “Master Distribution List” and related file systems to verify manual and data current issue and status as well as historical record
· Responsible for the control, distribution and revision process of manuals, bulletins, technical data and drawings and compliance publications relating to the Silver Airways organization
· Receives, duplicates, logs and distributes technical and compliance correspondence and revisions for the company
· Coordinating and providing an order point for manuals and information resources for the company
· Requisitioning supplies and maintaining an appropriate stock level
· The review, formatting, subsequent distribution and tracking of manuals, and their approved revisions
· The supervision and direction of any temporarily assigned clerical personnel
· Distribution of memos and company correspondence
· Currency and integrity of the files established in all manuals historical preservation and tracking of manuals, manual receipts, revision and revision receipts
· The Administrator of Technical Publications may delegate any or all of his/her duties to qualified persons, this does not however, relieve him/her of their overall responsibility
· Other duties as assigned by the Manager of Technical Publications or the VP of Safety, Security and Regulatory Compliance

Knowledge Skills and Abilities
· Must be detail oriented and diligent at organization
· Must have excellent computer skills
· Must be able to format Word documents
· Must be able to create tables and forms
· Must be proficient in Adobe PDF
· Must have good organizational and communication skills
· Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship
· Must be able to pass a Drug and Alcohol Screen, and FBI Fingerprint & Criminal History check

Education and Experience
· Minimum (2) two years’ experience in Technical Publications area required
· Content Management System experience preferred
· Airline Industry experience preferred

Physical Requirements
· Sight: Must be able to see well enough to read reports
· Hearing: Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with customers, vendors and team members.
· Standing/Walking: Must be able to move about department
· Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling: Must be able to stoop or kneel to pick up paper products
· Lifting/Pulling/Pushing: Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds repeatedly
· Fingering/Grasping/Feeling: Must be able to type and use technical sources
· Working Conditions: Normal working conditions absent extreme factors
