NCI: The Technical Receptionist & Training Support Specialist ( Technical Training Specialist ) serves as the front-face of our program at our training facility in Washington D.C. The Receptionist serves as the primary point of contact for our students, instructors, and other visitors on our client-based training program. This position requires a multi-tasking individual that is able to address training inquiries by phone, email, and in person, along with coordinating training related activities including online student registration, and the setup and breakdown of classroom materials.

Highlights of Responsibilities:
Serving as the primary receptionist and POC for guests at the front desk, including students, instructors, and visitors.
Answering the main phone number, main email inbox, questions and inquiries from students, instructors, and staff.
Providing information on courses offered including coordinating class rosters and final grade results.
Physically setting up classrooms with training materials including course binders and course materials.
Physically breaking down classrooms and cleaning up training materials including courses binders, materials, and any leave behinds.
Planning and reports that include up-to-date training requirements and calendar information for classrooms.
Using our online training system to register students, research on courses and student history.
Ordering (purchase requests) and shipping courseware materials for printing and manage book distribution, along with any in-house printing needs.
Inventory Management Tracking capabilities to track all software, hardware, and other assets in the training center

2+ years experience in similar technical environment with excellent phone skills and communication skills
Ability to multi task (answer multiple phone lines, respond to in person inquiries, respond to emails, fax, print, etc).
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products including Powerpoint, Word, and Excel.
Willing to learn and use daily, customized training software for reporting, student registration, and accessing course materials such as student rosters.
Ability to be cleared at a Background Investigation level and then a Public Trust level.

Preferred Education and Experience:
Active Public Trust.
Preferred government contracting or government experience in a technical environment such as training, human capital, human resources.
Ability to work well in a dynamic team environment.
