Under direction of the Recruiting Manager and HR Manager, the Recruiter will work with internal stakeholders and the HR team to source, screen and recruit potential employees for the Information Technology organization. The Recruiter will serve as a talent advisor to the business, execute on HR recruitment strategies and develop working relationships with hiring managers and the HR team.

Key Responsibilities

Source candidates by using job boards (i.e. CareerBuilder, Monster, Dice, etc.), attending career fairs, campus recruiting, or other traditional/non-traditional means

Perform full lifecycle recruiting from identifying candidates thru onboarding

Create job postings and manage incoming candidate flow for assigned requisitions via applicant tracking system (iCims)

Conduct interviews with candidates to determine viability for assigned requirements

Perform candidate reference checks as needed

Work with staffing vendors as directed to fill open requirements

Work with hiring managers for requisition process, status updates, candidate recommendation, interview scheduling, and HR compliance

Other tasks/duties as needed/assigned

Required Skills

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; strong presentation and interpersonal skills

Self-motivated, able to work independently and multi-task in a fast paced environment

Skilled in using internet search tools and Boolean searches

Required Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or similar preferred

Minimum 1-2 years of Corporate or Agency recruiting experience in the Information Technology vertical

Experience with a variety of recruiting methods including: internet, direct sourcing/cold calling, networking/referrals

Basic knowledge of federal and state regulations related to employment

Basic understanding of IT technologies and tools (applications, infrastructure, etc.)

Experience with an enterprise applicant tracking system (iCims preferred)

Proficient in Microsoft Office products

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Physical Requirements: Those required in a typical office environment including sitting most of the time, finger dexterity for computer and paper work, talking to convey detailed or important instructions, average hearing for normal conversations, and average visual acuity.

Working Conditions: No hazardous or significantly unpleasant conditions
