Technical Recruiter

Position Description:

SNVC is seeking a Technical Recruiter to manage the corporate recruiting process and workflow administration. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Conduct full life-cycle recruiting to include requirements definition, candidate search, screening, interview scheduling, and offers
  • Initiate the hiring process and provide placement for both Federal and Commercial clients in the Information Technology, Security management, Policy and Governance, Finance and Administrative sectors or others as needed
  • Create/develop position descriptions and distribute to internal and external advertising outlets to include the use of social media sites
  • Work directly with members of the leadership team and Program Managers to align staffing efforts with business objectives
  • Form and manage relationships with internal and external sources
  • Work closely with Senior Contracts Administrator to initiate Master Service Agreements (MSA’s) and Consulting Agreements for compliance with operational policies
  • Negotiate rate letters with temporary staffing agencies rates and wages of contract, contract-to-hire, and perm-placed consultants with the assistance of the Senior Contracts Administrator
  • Coordinates with viable candidates/onboarding employees/internal transfers and ensures proper completion of paperwork
  • Prepare hiring documentation (applicant packet, authorization to hire, offer letters, acceptance letters, change requests for internal transfers) and liaise with corporate officers to ensure successful completion of the hiring process
  • Create metric reports, develop presentations and provide weekly briefs surrounding actions
  • Attend career fairs, trade shows, and other events to build rapport with job-seekers, increase talent pool, interview prospective candidates, fill current or upcoming vacancies, network with potential business partners, market the company’s core service offerings, and continue to build the company’s brand
  • Maintain the company’s applicant tracking system
  • Manage the Employee Referral Awards and Recognition program
Basic Qualifications:
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must have the ability to obtain a SECRET level security clearance
  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university in a related field
  • Must have at least 3 years’ of technical recruiting experience
  • Must have working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems
Other Requirements:
  • PHR or SPHR certification is preferred
  • Recruiting experience with a defense contractor is preferred
  • Experience with the Taleo Applicant Tracking System is preferred
  • Research, analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills are preferred
  • Excellent organization and communication skills are preferred
