Position Description

Technica is seeking an energetic, proactive Technical Recruiter with experience in the federal IT contracting space as well as staffing agency experience responsible for attracting and hiring top engineering IT talent. If you have a "sales" approach to recruiting, this role might be great for you!

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Perform full lifecycle recruitment to identify high-quality cleared technical and non-technical candidates who meet the skillset needs of the organization
  • Manage an extensive requisition load inclusive of hard-to-fill, time sensitive positions
  • Utilize creative approaches to sourcing, recruiting, and building candidate pipelines
  • Drive the hiring process by actively engaging, advising and influencing managers
  • Manage the candidate experience inclusive of salary negotiations
  • Close requisitions in a timely manner
  • Ensure consistent application of recruiting processes and policies and maintain accurate and auditable records
  • Maintain real-time data in applicant tracking system (ATS) with accuracy
  • Provide regular reports to management on recruiting progress and issues
  • Create and foster relationships with professional organizations as a means of fostering employer brand to attract and recruit critical skilled candidates
  • Actively participate in job fairs and special projects as needed to support the recruiting team

Knowledge, Skills & Ability Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 8 years of technical recruiting experience; at least 3 years in the cleared community, preferably in the Intelligence, FBI, or DHS community
  • Proven track record for consistently meeting or exceeding quantitative goals
  • Experience sourcing candidates from creative resources
  • Demonstrated expertise in filling niche roles using out-of-the-box strategies
  • Direct experience using social media to attract talent and build candidate pipelines
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills and are known as a trusted business partner
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience supporting remote managers
  • Solid understanding of federal/state regulations related to employment, specifically EEOC, FLSA, OFCCP
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Taleo SBE preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint and Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
