The Technical Sales Architect defines a client technical adviser providing strategic technical leadership and direction to the client and to the sales teams. The role requires technical expertise in IBM technology and IBM services offerings, with the ability to lead the client and IBM team in developing solution areas that meet the client's business and IT requirements. Proven teaming and interpersonal capabilities are a requirement. Experience in IBM field technical sales is preferred.
Criteria for success include: establishment of client relationships, client satisfaction, client adoption of IBM strategic platforms, opportunity identification and wins, innovative client solutions, and cross-IBM teaming.
This job requires the candidate to live in the Northern New Jersey geographic area.
