Overview: InsideSales.com is looking for a driven Technical Sales Engineer Manager who understands technology's formative capability to optimize business process. The Technical Sales Engineer Manager is responsible for driving the success of our already exceptional TSEs. The TSEs interact with customers to execute the technical aspects of the sales strategy by developing appropriate solutions, build and present demos, and building technical relationships. The Sales Engineer resolves technical issues arising during the sales engagement, helps clients define specifications and requirements, develops solutions, and provides technology presentations to both technical and management-level audiences. DUTIES

Position Responsibilities:
Work with in-house recruiter to find, interview, and hire Technical Sales Engineer employees
Manage all TSE employee issues (i.e. hiring, schedules, goals, reviews, concerns, professional development, termination etc.)
Spend 25% - 50% of time to work with reps to help coach, mentor, and improve performance
Ensure TSEs properly manage all technical aspects of a complex sell in conjunction with experienced field personnel
Optimize the TSE team so that they effectively support the sales team through direct client interaction, evoking confidence in our products and platform and removing all technical objections throughout the sales cycle
Collect feedback from the field, synthesize and present to Product Management and Engineering
Assign quarterly and annual objectives
Manage projects and customer engagements to optimize TSE success

QUALIFICATIONS

Position Qualifications:
B.S. Computer Science, Software Engineering, IS, or equivalent work experience
Previous 5+ years experience as a sales engineer (or related position) within an enterprise software organization
Significant management experience with proven success
Advanced CRM/Lead management and/or call management experience is a must
Ability to work as part of a cross-functional team to solve business and technical problems
Solid verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
Proven time management skills in a dynamic sales environment
Knowledge of related applications, SaaS models, relational databases, and web technology
Highly driven individual with an execution focus and a strong sense of urgency
Entrepreneurial experience and attitude
Handle details accurately and in a timely manner
Self-directed and resourceful
