Overview: InsideSales.com is looking for a driven technical sales engineer who understands technology's formative capability to optimize business process. The Sales Engineer is responsible for presenting the InsideSales.com products, solutions and architecture in the best light to prospects and customers while removing all technical objections in the sales cycle. They interact with customers to execute the technical aspects of the sales strategy by developing appropriate solutions, build and present demos, and building technical relationships. The Sales Engineer resolves technical issues arising during the sales engagement, helps clients define specifications and requirements, develops solutions, and provides technology presentations to both technical and management-level audiences.

DUTIES

Position Responsibilities:
Understand customer goals and challenges and establish InsideSales.com's product as the best solution available
Manage all technical aspects of a complex sell in conjunction with experienced field personnel
Support the sales team through direct client interaction evoking confidence in our products and platform and removing all technical objections throughout the sales cycle
Be confident in presenting and articulating the business value of InsideSales.com's Sales Communication Platform to managers and executives of all levels
Assist with installation, setup and configuration of trial accounts
Collect feedback from the field, synthesize and present to Product Management and Engineering
Attend customer meetings in person and via the phone to advise customers on technical aspects of InsideSales.com's Sales Communication Platform to fit the customer's needs
Attain quarterly and annual objectives assigned by management
Deliver product and technical related responses on RFPs/RFIs
Manage multiple customer engagements concurrently

QUALIFICATIONS

Position Qualifications:
B.S. Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or equivalent work experience
Previous 1+ years experience as a sales engineer within an enterprise software organizations
Advanced CRM/Lead management and/or call management experience is a must
Ability to work as part of a cross-functional team to solve business and technical problems
Solid verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
Proven time management skills in a dynamic sales environment
Knowledge of related applications, SaaS models, relational databases, and web technology
Highly driven individual with an execution focus and a strong sense of urgency
Entrepreneurial experience and attitude
Handle details accurately and in a timely manner
Self-directed and resourceful
