SupportThe Sales Support function is responsible for working with the Sales team to identify new sales opportunities and for developing related technical material to support closing new deals. In this role you will have a high degree of exposure to external customers. You will also interact closely and frequently with internal Sales, Marketing, Delivery and R&D teams, requiring you to have a good knowledge of Mobile Network Technology. Externally you will be responsible for understanding customer requirements and developing related technical presentations, proposals &/or quotations – While internally you will work with the Delivery and R&D teams to develop related Business Cases. Roles and Responsibilities: Work with the Sales team to understand customer challenges / requirements and to develop related technical solutions. Prepare Customer presentations, proposals, bids and quotations as required. Work with internal Delivery, R&D and Sales teams to develop sound Business Case(s) &/or technical justification in support of finalizing commercial aspects and pricing. Provide customer pre-sales and post-sales support as necessary, to support winning incremental business .Function and act as the central repository for all Product and Service knowledge and information across the business. This includes establishing and managing an evolving reference library of technical Presentation material, SOWs, Business Cases, Product Workflow, Product Demos, Pricing Templates, Quotation Templates etc for use by Sales and Technical Sales personnel. Provide feedback into Product Management and Marketing regarding customer needs and future product/feature requirements. Leverage knowledge of Customer technical requirements to develop and deliver new Marketing collateral
Required Skills: 5+ years successful track record of working in Sales Support function Demonstrable success in understanding clients technical needs and translating these into sound solutions / proposals. Some experience of IP &/or Mobile Operator Network Planning is preferred. Proven ability to develop financial Business Cases to support feasibility of technical solutions Excellent presentation and communication skills Demonstrated proficiency with computer hardware & software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Education/Experience: Bachelors or Masters Degree a plus Background in working for Mobile Operators & /or Infrastructure Vendors or Telecommunications Service Companies a plus Prior experience of working in Sales environment preferred. Remuneration: Basic + Bonus: $40 to 60K dependent upon experience + benefits package
