To perform all or most of the following pre-shipment tasks: laser marking parts, carousel put away/pulling of parts, assembling parts, boxing, shipping and paperwork processing.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Rotate between different areas within the shipping department as needed: Laser Marking stations, Carousel, Assembly, Boxing, Domestic and International Shipping.
Laser mark punches and dies with dimensions.
Demagnetize parts, attach drivers, and retain rings.
Carousel work which consists of making sure parts are complete, inspecting parts, packaging parts into tubes and boxes and recording the status of orders.
Assemble punches with springs, collars, and punch heads.
Prepare boxing for tubes and boxes, indicate the destination of the package and include all appropriate paperwork.
Weigh and prepare packages, including paper work for final delivery for both Domestic and International delivery.
Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS
Strong mechanical aptitude
Strong technical shipping background
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, typing, 10 key, and internet navigation
SAP experience
Be able to read and comprehend shop tickets.
Be able to work at a fast pace as well as be detail oriented.
Ability to use advanced measuring tools, like calipers and micrometers.
High school education or equivalent required

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Inside, manufacturing facility
WORK SCHEDULE
Part-time, 2pm to 7pm (shift time may vary slightly depending on customer demand)
COMPENSATION
Production Support scale; Depends on experience
