Cisco seeks an Enterprise Networking Technical Solutions Architect to provide guidance and assist account teams in building solutions to address specific customer needs. Very strong core routing, switching and mobility skills is a must. R&S CCIE is highly desirable. Sales and customer relationship building skills are a must.

In this position, you will be working with account teams to help them position solutions effectively against competing offerings and drive customer refresh opportunities. Related technical knowledge is essential, and sales skills are critical. The ideal candidate will also have a strong level of comfort communicating across all functions within Cisco, as well as with clients and partners. This is a good opportunity for someone to work as a technology leader with today's most innovative teams in a demanding and growing industry.

The ideal candidate will be able to:

-Provide high-level and detailed consultative solutions, technical and sales support for selected major account opportunities.
-Understand business requirements for customer base and be able to translate them into technical requirements.
-Understand and Articulate Cisco's Architectures and Services.
-Facilitate better communications and understanding of customer requirements between customers, corporate and the field. create, present and document technical solutions.
-Perform in-depth and high-level technical presentations for customers, partners and prospects.
-Drive identified major account opportunities (i.e. technical consulting, upper level management presentations, Cisco technology solutions, product requirements, and design validation) while allowing local account team to maintain long-term ownership.
-Mentor other less experienced Systems Engineers in the assigned opportunities.
-Viewed as a leader by senior management, peers, partners, company and customers.
-Actively participate as a specialist on assigned Virtual Team(s) and/or Solutions Team(s).

-10+ years related experience.
-Cisco experience
-Cisco product and end-to-end positioning
-Competitive product experience
-Pre-Sales experience
-BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent.
-R&S CCIE certification highly desirable.

The following In-depth Knowledge Preferred:
- Routing and Switching technology.
- Cisco entire Routing and Switching portfolio.
- The current Software Defined Networking (SDN) and controller space.
- WAN designs, VPN technologies and IWAN protocols.
- Campus Networks best practice design methodologies.
- Unified Access and Mobility product capabilities and design expertise.
- Thorough competitive knowledge including solution, technology and product offerings.

Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, negotiation and presentation skills. Ability to work effectively, add value as a team member and assume a leadership role for the team. Demonstrated technical knowledge and consultative skills. Ability to train and disseminate information within an Area or Operation. Technical knowledge and consultative skills which are above reproach. Ability to understand complex technical and selling situations and the ability to solve the problem or solicit the required resources.
